Horsham Year of Culture - Martlets Lacemakers in Horsham Museum

 As part of Horsham's year of culture, Martlets put on a wonderful varied display in the Museum in March....

I have just returned from yet another enjoyable day with Martlets Lacemakers celebrating National Lacemaking Day, we drank tea, ate cake, chatted, drew raffles, listened to a really interesting talk from Alex Stillwell on designing lace, and oh, of course we made a little lace!...

The programme for 2109 was also launched...

I have just returned home from our September meeting at Martlets. Many of us spent the day making Christmas Tree Brooches, thanks to Sherri and her very enjoyable work shop. 

We also saw what we have in 2018, the programme looks really exciting, take a look...

Brenda’s Lace Day and Cream Tea in Aid of Martlets

Saturday 27th August 2016 

10.30am – 4 pm

Entry Fee £4.00

Once again Brenda is opening up her garden in Faygate for us to spend the day making lace, crochet, cross stitch, tatting, knitting or anything you like.  

Have you always fancied trying your hand at machine knitting? There will be a knitting machine available - beginners welcome.

As well as a cream tea there will be a raffle too and all the day’s proceeds are for Martlets Lacemakers.
